What to expect

We know it's not easy visiting a new church for the first time. Do I belong here? Am I really welcome? Will the people be unfriendly or...too friendly? Will it be easy to leave if I don't enjoy it? Will they ask me for money? Will my kids enjoy it? How should I dress? Am I welcome if I don't believe like they do?

Here's a brief overview...

What should I wear?

You will see some who wear dress clothes, while some dress more casually. Neither, however, is expected of you! We are much more concerned about what’s going on inside of a person, than what they are wearing on the outside. So just come as you are!

What's the music like?

We sing a mixture of choruses and hymns. We try to sing songs that are deep in meaning, easy to understand, and worshipful - making the singing a fulfilling part of our services.

Do my kids sit with me?

During the morning worship service we have a Junior Church and staffed Nursery available, if you're interested, but your kids are welcome to sit with you in the service as well. During our Connection Pointe time, we split off into different age groups with specific ministries developed for your kids to partake in.

Will I be asked to give money?

We will take an offering. If it’s your first time, we actually want you to keep your wallet in your pocket. Just come and experience a service at KBMC. If you like it and want to call it your church home, then we believe giving financially to God and His church is the right thing to do as part of the church family.

What is the overall environment like?

We strive to make you feel welcome as you put yourself in the position to connect with God. We believe in an atmosphere of worship! We want an environment that will set the tone for you to be more focused on God, and less concerned about the atmosphere around you.

We understand that a new church may be a little strange to you, but that's why we try very hard to help you feel at home while you're KBMC.
